Calysta Consulting efficiently administers all of the documentation related to the specific project. The scope of work includes but is not limited to the following:
Contract Management:
- Attend tender opening
- Tender analysis and recommendation
- Provide technical check on firm recommended
- Ensure WCB, bonding and insurance requirements are met
- Notice of award, ensure proper documentation is received
- Contract administration, including preparation of contracts, issuing of change orders and approval of contractor’s progress claim
- Negotiations of claims, disputes and other matters relating to the performance of the contract documents
- Review contractor’s submittals such as shop drawings, product date and samples
- Receive and review written warranties and related documents
- Written deficiency notices
- Lien holdback release
- Deficiency holdback advice
- Advice regarding delays, terminations
- Correspondence, phone consultations, site meetings
Field Reviews:
- Familiarize ourselves with the drawings and specifications
- Inspect roof decks for approval before roofing
- Application and attendance at any site meetings prior to work commencing
- Check all materials and inspect application
- Obtain approval from the Owner/design authority before permitting any changes or alterations to the specifications
- Provide copies of daily, substantial and final inspection reports to the proper authorities
- Provide a substantial completion inspection report listing all deficiencies
