Paul is a civil engineering graduate of the University of Alberta with over 30 years of experience. Since 1981 he has been involved in roofing, waterproofing and building science consulting in British Columbia. In addition he also has experience in structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, and concrete repair. Paul has “Accepted Status” as a roofing inspector with the Roofing Contractors Association of BC (RCABC)
He has a deep commitment to his profession. Paul is a Past President of the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of BC, a Past President of the BC Chapter of the American Concrete Institute, a Past President of the Western Canada Chapter of RCI. Currently Paul is a member of the Technical Committee of the Roofing Contractors Association of BC and the Technical Committee for CSA Standard A220 “Concrete Roof Tiles”.
In recognition of his contribution to the engineering profession, Paul was made a Fellow of Engineers Canada in 2008.

Tara joined the staff of Calysta Consulting in 2007 as the Office Administrator. She is responsible for the day to day operation of the office including the preparation of all reports, specifications and contract documents. Tara handles the accounts payable and accounts receivable for the company.

Kathie works part-time for Calysta Consulting. She assists Paul with the field reviews of building envelope and waterproofing projects, report writing and the preparation of specifications. As well, she is responsible for the marketing of Calysta Consulting’s services.
In addition to working with Calysta she also runs her own company, KDR Engineering Consultants Ltd. Her expertise is in the field of concrete construction, troubleshooting concrete problems and repairs, rigid pavement design and ICFS construction.
